Gerald R. Ford Middle is a Fuel Up to Play 60 school, which has given them access to resources to create physical activity and nutrition opportunities for students. Community partners, including Kent School Services Network, Spectrum Health Residency program, University of Detroit Mercy School of Nursing, local community farmer's market coordinators, and more, also helped the school implement their innovative health and wellness programs.
